1st ASST GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT

1st Assistant Superintendent Landscapes Golf Management and The Short Course at Mountain Shadows are looking for a full time 1st Assistant Superintendent. The Short Course at Mountain Shadows is an 18-hole par-3 golf course located at the base of Camelback Mountain. The course was ranked in the Top 10 short courses in the world by the PGA in October 2025. It is part of the top-ranked Mountain Shadows resort and serves as a prized amenity for resort guests and public golfers alike.

The 1st Assistant Superintendent at Mountain Shadows must be highly detail-oriented, with a strong focus on teamwork, culture development, and daily improvement in course playability and aesthetics. This individual will lead a crew of 9 - 10 employees responsible for maintaining the golf course, desert landscape, hotel grounds, and landscaping throughout the resort.

JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent directs and participates in the maintenance of the golf course. Supervises the maintenance and repair of motorized and other mechanical equipment. Assists with all aspects of the irrigation system maintenance and operation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Supervises and manages the upkeep of the golf course property which includes the course, maintenance equipm
