The Golf Cart Attendant is responsible for ensuring golf carts and related facilities are clean, organized, and well maintained while providing friendly and professional service to the members and guests. This role supports daily golf operations, contributes to tournaments and event setup, and upholds the club’s standards of excellence. Ideal for individuals with customer service experience, this position also offers the opportunity to work in a premier golf environment.
Responsibilities
Welcome members and guests upon arrival, assisting with golf bags, equipment, and cart setup.Clean, stock, and maintain golf carts, including charging batteries and replenishing tees, towels, and scorecards.Inspect carts daily for mechanical or safety issues and report concerns to the golf professional staff.Maintain the golf staging areas, including bag drop, practice facilities, bag room, and cart barn.Assist with golf events and tournaments, including staging carts, labeling, setup, and post-event breakdown.Monitor pace of play and provide assistance or directions to golfers as needed.Support tee time operations, including bag storage, cart rotation, and player preparation.Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment across all golf facilities and staging areas.Deliver exceptional customer service by anticipating member and guest needs and resolving minor issues promptly.Assist with end-of-day duties such as cleaning work areas, securing equipment, and organizing carts for the next day.Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role.Ability to safely operate golf carts and handle golf equipment.Education: High school diploma or equivalent, or current high school student.Nice-to-haves
Experience in golf or hospitality settings.Knowledge of golf terminology, etiquette, and basic rules.Benefits
