Role Description The Golf Coach is a contract, on-site role based at The Golf Nation facility in Englewood, NJ. The coach will provide individual and group golf instruction, including swing analysis, short game work, and on-course simulation sessions using advanced training technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing player abilities, designing tailored training programs, tracking progress, and offering constructive feedback to support player development. The role also involves maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, collaborating with other coaches, and supporting academy events, clinics, and junior programs as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Golf Instruction and Coaching, with the ability to teach fundamentals and advanced techniques to diverse skill levels.Candidates should possess skills in Sports Coaching and Golf, including player development, practice planning, and performance evaluation.Candidates should possess knowledge of Golf Management principles, such as session scheduling, client communication, and basic academy operations.Prior experience coaching juniors, competitive athletes, or recreational golfers in a structured environment is beneficial.Relevant coaching certifications, golf teaching credentials, or PGA/LPGA affiliation are preferred but not required.Strong communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills, with the ability to foster an inclusive and supportive training environment.Ability to work on-site in Englewood, NJ, including evenings and weekends as program schedules require.
