Position Summary:

The Thayer School of Education at Wingate University is seeking applicants to a fill part-time, adjunct teaching position in the area below. This part-time position will be primarily asynchronous online with some live evening Zoom instruction.

Integrating Global Social Studies and the HumanitiesDuties/Responsibilities:

Prepare graduate students in teacher education programs to become effective practitioners and researchers in the field of education by teaching and modeling current evidence-based practicesProvide students with clear, timely, and specific communication and feedbackHold regular, predictable virtual office hoursAlignment with University mission, vision, and strategic roadmapOther job duties/responsibilities may be assignedMinimum Requirements:

Ideal candidates will have a master’s degree or higher in a related discipline (History/Social Studies) as well as both K-12 and college teaching experience.Experience with Canvas learning management system and content development tools such as Zoom, Snagit, Camtasia and other e-learning tools is preferred.
