Independent Contractor – Fitness Instructor Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club is seeking experienced and motivated fitness professionals to provide instruction and wellness programming for our members on an independent contractor basis. This is a great opportunity for instructors looking to grow their client base within a premier private club environment. Position Overview We are looking for certified fitness instructors to lead group classes and/or provide private training sessions. Instructors will have the opportunity to build relationships with members and create engaging, high-quality fitness experiences. Key Responsibilities Provide group fitness instruction and/or private training sessions for club membersDevelop and deliver safe, effective, and engaging fitness programmingBuild and maintain a personal client base within the clubPromote services and classes to drive participation and engagementMaintain a professional and welcoming environment for all membersQualifications Current fitness certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, AFAA, or equivalent)Prior experience leading group classes and/or personal training sessionsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)Ability to operate independently and manage your own scheduleCompensation Compensation is structured as a per-class rate and/or revenue split for private training sessionsInstructors are responsible for managing their own schedules and client bookingsAdditional Details This is an independent contractor opportunity and does not include employee benefitsInstructors may provide services at other locations and maintain their own client base outside of the clubScheduling is flexible based on instructor availability and member demandWork Location: In person
