Northwood Country Club in Meridian, MS is looking hire multiple people for golf course maintenance. We are located on 4300 Country Club Drive. Our ideal candidates are a self-starter, punctual, and reliable.
Responsibilities
• Maintains all grounds of Northwood Country Club to the highest standard
• Mow, trim, top dress, and treat the turf which consist of mowing the greens, tees, aprons, and roughs
• Preparing the course for play each day which consist of preparing and planting sod and seed, and changing hole locations.
• Operating heavy machinery including mowers, tractors, string trimmers, and debris blowers.
• Maintaining the landscape such as aerate, seed, weed, and fertilize the grounds. This also includes removing leaves in the winter and sometimes snow.
• Maintaining the safety of the course which consist of checking for hazards like fallen trees, flooding, and damaged paths. Prepare for inclement weather and clean up afterward.
• Working with other groundskeepers to maintain the course.
• Facility is cleaned on a daily basis and is in an orderly fashion
Job Type: Full-time
