Our client, a premier Leisure & Sports establishment, is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Operations to oversee the management of a prestigious golf and country club. Key responsibilities involve leading, motivating, and developing a diverse team of department managers and staff. You will oversee strategic planning for club improvements, capital projects, and amenity enhancements. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with club members, vendors, and community stakeholders is crucial. Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of progressive management experience in the hospitality, golf, or leisure industry, with at least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role (e.g., General Manager, Director of Operations). Proven experience in managing diverse departments, including F&B, Golf Operations, Member Relations, and Facilities Management. Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, P&L responsibility, and cost control. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategies to enhance member satisfaction and drive operational efficiency. Excellent leadership, team-building, and motivational skills. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities. Knowledge of golf course operations and industry best practices. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
