Golf Course Superintendent

Aquia Harbour Property Owners Association is seeking a motivated and experienced Golf Course Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and operation of our scenic 9-hole golf course. The Superintendent is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising all golf course maintenance activities, including turf management, irrigation, pesticide applications, equipment oversight, and staff supervision. The position works closely with Association management to maintain a high-quality playing experience while operating within approved budgets. Virginia Pesticide Applicator License Required Proven experience in golf course maintenance and management Strong knowledge of turf management practices, irrigation systems, and pesticide applications Ability to effectively supervise and lead a team of maintenance staff Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders Experience in budget management and cost control Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices in golf course management Professional certification and education in turf management or agronomy
