Job Description
The Golf Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for retail sales and maintaining a neat sales floor in the Pro Shop. Additionally, the attendant will assist the departmental Director and Managers with inventory control, merchandising, and scheduling tee times.
Responsibilities
Display, effectively communicate, and hold all Omni Hotels & Resorts Vision, our Mission, and Core Values, while maintaining four-diamond service.
Inventory control through diligent patrolling of the retail area.
Inventory, along with other staff members, as needed.
Prepare all merchandise for floor.
Assist with merchandising.
Daily sales transactions.
Efficient communication with all associates in the golf department as well as all other Omni Grove Park Inn departments.
Ability to deal with guests in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Any other requests by management.
Qualifications
Training or experience with retail sales preferred.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
