What You’ll Do
As a Line Cook, you’ll be an integral part of our kitchen team, responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating dishes that meet our high standards. Working closely with our executive chef and sous chef, you’ll ensure that every meal is crafted with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: - Prepare ingredients such as chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and measuring seasonings according to recipe specifications. - Set up and organize workstations with all necessary tools and ingredients for efficient service. - Follow standardized recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
Cooking and Assembly: - Cook a variety of food items using methods like grilling, sautéing, frying, and baking. - Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure dishes are prepared to perfection. - Plate and garnish dishes with attention to presentation and portion sizes.
Kitchen Organization and Cleanliness: - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and sanitation standards. - Assist with waste management, including proper disposal of kitchen waste and recycling. - Monitor inventory and replenish supplies as needed.
Quality Control and Food Safety: - Conduct quality checks throughout the cooking process to ensure flavor, texture, and presentation meet expectations. - Follow food safety protocols, including proper storage and handling of ingredients. - Report any equipment issues to management promptly.
What We’re Looking For
