And we're just getting started. ### The Role As a Server, you'll provide gracious, knowledgeable, and anticipatory service in our upscale dining rooms. This role demands professionalism, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of hospitality. You'll foster a warm, welcoming environment and maintain the highest standards while working closely with the team for a seamless dining experience. #### What You'll Do - Greet members and guests promptly and professionally, using names when known. - Provide detailed menu knowledge on food, wine, and beverage offerings; make confident recommendations based on preferences and pairings. - Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems, ensuring proper timing of service. - Deliver all courses with elegance and precision, clearing discreetly and orderly. - Anticipate needs throughout the meal—refilling drinks and attending to requests without prompting. - Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and management for smooth operations. - Follow fine dining procedures: proper place settings, wine service, multi-course etiquette. - Keep your station clean, polished, and organized throughout the shift. - Uphold club standards for appearance, etiquette, and member interaction. - Assist in setup and breakdown of dining areas: polishing glassware, resetting tables, inspecting linens. ### What We're Looking For While a minimum of 1 year restaurant experience is preferred, we're willing to train the right candidate from scratch. You'll need exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a service-first mindset, plus the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining poise. Strong attention to detail, time management, and personal presentation are key. You must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs. Flexible availability is required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. UCC is a drug-free workplace. ### Schedule & Environment Shifts vary and include evenings, weekends, holidays, and club events. Indoor/outdoor bar service may be required depending on season and event schedule. This is a professional, service-focused environment emphasizing hospitality and discretion.
