Edgewood Golf Course is seeking motivated seasonal employees to assist with golf course maintenance during the fall season. This position is ideal for students or individuals seeking full-time seasonal work, with scheduling flexibility available to accommodate class schedules.
Position OverviewSeasonal Fall Maintenance Workers assist with daily golf course operations and seasonal cleanup activities to help maintain excellent playing conditions through the end of the golf season. This is a full-time seasonal position that typically runs through October 31, weather permitting.
ResponsibilitiesOperate a variety of golf course maintenance equipment, including: Rotary and reel mowers String trimmers Irrigation equipment Utility vehicles and hand tools Assist with seasonal course setup and maintenancePerform leaf removal and fall cleanup dutiesMaintain bunkers, tees, fairways, and greensHelp with irrigation repairs and winterization activitiesComplete general groundskeeping and landscape maintenance tasksScheduleFull-time seasonal positionTypical work hours are weekdays 6 am to 2:30 pm, Weekends 6 am to 10 am, Fall hours will be adjusted as temperatures cool offFlexible to accommodate school and class schedulesEvery other weekend work is requiredStart and end times can be adjusted based on availability and operational needsQualificationsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsMust be at least 18 years of ageEmployment TermThis seasonal position is expected to run through approximately October 31, depending on weather conditions and course needs.
