We are seeking a passionate and reliable Lunch Cook to join our seasonal country club food service team. In this role, you’ll be the key player in preparing our midday meals that keep our membership satisfied.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook lunch menu items following established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients with precision.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
Support food safety protocols by adhering to hygiene standards during all stages of food preparation and service.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of meals and smooth kitchen operations.
Assist with catering or special event meal preparations as needed, providing excellent service from start to finish.
Requirements
Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or culinary environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key.
Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures.
Strong knife skills and experience with food preparation techniques.
Familiarity with menu planning, meal prep, and cooking for diverse dietary requirements.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues.
Pay: $21.50 - $28.39 per hour
