Fitness Center Housekeeping

Description Position SummaryBaton Rouge Country Club is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to join our Fitness Center team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members and guests. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and can work both independently and collaboratively to ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards. Essential ResponsibilitiesPerform routine cleaning and maintenance of the Fitness and Tennis Center to ensure a pristine appearance.Vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize floors throughout the facility.Clean and disinfect restrooms, locker rooms, showers, and other high-touch areas.Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the men's and women's locker rooms.Restock locker room amenities, toiletries, paper products, and cleaning supplies as needed.Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility.Clean windows, mirrors, glass surfaces, and interior/exterior furniture.Ensure all public areas remain clean, orderly, and member-ready throughout each shift.Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages promptly to management.Follow all cleaning procedures and safety guidelines while using cleaning products and equipment.Assist with additional housekeeping duties as assigned.Requirements QualificationsPrevious housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.Reliable, dependable, and punctual with a positive attitude.Ability to communicate effectively with management and coworkers.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.Ability to push and pull cleaning carts and equipment.Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.SchedulePart-timeEvening and weekend availability is required.
