We are currently looking for a team member to join our seasoned culinary team in the role of Kitchen Steward.
Full-Time Afternoon starting at 3pm
30+ hours/ week (Tuesday – Sunday)
Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
The Kitchen Utility personnel is responsible for:
Day to day work direction of the Kitchen Utility/Dishwashing teamCoordination of work, training and quality standard adherenceKey point of contact and issue escalation to Management teamWashing all dishware according to the highest sanitation standardsPolishing silverware, platters, and chafing dishesPutting dishware away in proper location after wash and dry processCollecting and disposing of trash from all kitchen areasCleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas including floors, shelves, countertops, cabinets, ice machines, etc.Inventorying cleaning supplies; including soaps, chemicals, and towelsAssisting kitchen staff with weekly cleaning and maintenance listOther duties as assigned by Executive ChefRequirements
Must be 18 years of age or olderPrevious experience as a Dishwasher or similar role is preferred but not mandatory Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other team membersMust be available to work nights, weekends, and holidaysMust have a working knowledge of sanitary standardsWest Shore Country Club offers the following benefits to all employees:
