Assistant Golf Course Grounds Superintendent

Marriott is seeking an Assistant Golf Grounds Superintendent to support daily care of our resort golf course. This role assists with turf maintenance, irrigation, fertilization, and crew coordination to ensure excellent playing conditions and a safe, pristine environment for guests. You'll operate and maintain grounds equipment, help with seasonal projects, and uphold Marriott's standards of service, safety, and sustainability while growing your career within a global hospitality leader.

Responsibilities

Assist in daily maintenance and presentation of golf course grounds, including mowing, trimming, and bunker careSupport irrigation system monitoring, basic repairs, and water management to ensure healthy turf conditionsApply fertilizers and pesticides under supervision, following safety and environmental standardsHelp supervise and train grounds crew, coordinating daily assignments and monitoring work qualityOperate and perform basic maintenance on mowers, utility vehicles, and turf care equipmentInspect course conditions, reporting issues such as turf stress, drainage concerns, or safety hazardsCollaborate with the Golf Grounds Superintendent on course improvement projects and seasonal preparationsEnsure compliance with Marriott safety policies and maintain a clean, organized maintenance facilityRequired Skills
