About the Role
Baltimore Country Club is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our Agronomy team. This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the golf course irrigation systems that support exceptional turf conditions across our championship facilities.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys problem solving, and takes pride in maintaining high-performance irrigation systems. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced irrigation technology while contributing to the daily conditioning of one of the premier country clubs in the country.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and adjust irrigation systems to support optimal turf health and playability
Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues including wiring faults, leaks, valve malfunctions, and communication errors
Install, maintain, and replace irrigation heads, valves, pipe, and control components
Monitor pump station performance and system pressure to ensure efficient operation
Utilize irrigation software and weather data to assist with water management decisions
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency
Work closely with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents to support agronomic programs and championship conditions
Maintain accurate records of repairs, system adjustments, and maintenance
What We're Looking For:
Experience with irrigation systems, electrical troubleshooting, and hydraulics
Golf course or sports turf irrigation experience preferred
Ability to read irrigation maps, wiring diagrams, and system layouts
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Positive attitude and strong work ethic in a team environment
