Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to food safety practices. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Follow all food safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in catering events as needed. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking methods are advantageous.
