Job description:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Server and beverage Cart person. You will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or issues
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using the POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation systems is beneficial
- Strong guest relations skills to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to help out in various areas of the restaurant as needed
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitate work areas
