Responsibilities Maintain the overall appearance of the golf course through landscaping, gardening, and lawn care activities.Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to trim, mow, edge, and shape greens, fairways, bunkers, and surrounding landscapes.Monitor and adjust irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules that promote healthy turf growth.Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools to ensure longevity and safety.Support land management tasks including fertilizing, aerating, overseeding, and pest control to sustain healthy turf conditions.Assist with general gardening duties like planting new vegetation or replacing damaged plants to enhance course aesthetics.Collaborate with team members to execute daily maintenance plans and respond promptly to any course issues or hazards.Mowing all playing surfaces, raking bunkers, mulching, weed wacking, hand mowing bunker faces. Skills Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, landscape maintenance practices, and lawn care techniques.Experience with horticulture principles and gardening best practices to promote healthy plant growth.Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, along with power tools including mowers and trimmers safely.Familiarity with landscaping procedures necessary for maintaining golf course aesthetics and playability.Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward maintenance tasks.Basic understanding of land management practices like fertilization, aeration, and pest control.Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while standing or walking for extended periods.
