Golf Course Grounds Crew

Position Summary Reston National Golf Course is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Golf Course Maintenance team as Part-Time and Seasonal Grounds Crew Members. Grounds Crew Members assist with the daily maintenance and upkeep of the golf course, grounds, and surrounding areas to ensure the course is clean, safe, and well-maintained for our golfers and guests. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, being active, and working as part of a team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist with daily golf course maintenance and landscaping tasks. Mow and maintain turf areas using various types of equipment. Trim, edge, weed, rake, and perform general grounds maintenance. Assist with bunker maintenance, including raking and upkeep. Maintain and clean golf course grounds, practice areas, and surrounding areas. Assist with planting, mulching, pruning, and other landscaping projects as needed. Assist with course setup and preparation for daily play. Operate hand tools and grounds maintenance equipment safely and properly after appropriate training. Pick up debris and maintain a clean and professional appearance throughout the property. Follow all safety procedures and instructions from supervisors. Work cooperatively with other members of the maintenance team. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent. Qualifications Previous golf course, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or outdoor work experience is helpful but not required. Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team. Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed. Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be at least 16 years old. Valid driver's license is required. Schedule & Work Environment Part-time and seasonal positions available. Early morning shifts are typical due to golf course maintenance operations. Weekend and holiday availability may be required. Schedule may vary based on course needs, weather, and seasonal demands. Position requires working outdoors and performing physical labor for extended periods.
