Job Description:
Gowanie Golf Club is looking for individuals to join our golf course maintenance crew. This position is for individuals who will work outdoors in maintaining the golf course. **this is not a Pro Shop position.
Key Responsibilities:
Applicant must be reliable, self-motivated, willing to learn and have an eye for detail. This position involves the daily maintenance of all areas the golf course, clubhouse and surrounding areas. No experience necessary.
Duties:
-mowing using an array of different equipment
-raking and edging of bunkers
-string trimming (i.e., weed whipping) as needed
-assist in landscape maintenance
-assist in project work which includes irrigation and drainage repair
-minor tree trimming and course cleanup
Requirements:
-must be reliable, be on time and self-motivated
-show ability to properly and safely learn all maintenance principles
-must be able to stay off phone
-be able to lift over 50lbs
-must have reliable transportation
Course Crewmember Work Schedule:
6:00am-2:30pm (M-F, Plus weekend 1/2 days)
One weekend morning from 6:00-9:30am
