Golf Course Laborer – Seasonal Positions Available Springfield Country Club is currently hiring golf course laborers for both full-time and part-time seasonal positions. Position Requirements: Must be available for early morning shifts Weekend morning availability is required for new employees Weekend shifts are typically 5:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Reliable transportation is required Employees must be dependable and punctual, as daily operations rely heavily on timely crew performance Current Openings: Multiple full-time seasonal positions Two weekend morning positions (approximately 8–10 hours per week) Additional openings for Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings Season Duration: This is a seasonal position that generally runs through mid-to-late November. Job Duties Include: Walk mowing tees, greens, and approaches Raking bunkers String trimming Filling divots General golf course maintenance duties Employees must be capable of walking long distances throughout shifts Career Opportunities: Golf course and turf maintenance can become a rewarding long-term career path. Industry median salaries include: Assistant Superintendent: approximately $65,000 annually Golf Course Superintendent: approximately $95,000 annually Management positions typically require a turf management degree or certificate.
