Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, process cash transactions efficiently, and handle cash handling responsibilities with precision. Provide attentive table service by greeting guests promptly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations based on guest preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Develop new beverage recipes, experiment with flavors, and stay current on industry trends in mixology and spirits. Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management skills while maintaining high-quality service. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours, including catering for events or banquets when needed. Uphold all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably with fine dining or upscale establishments. Demonstrated cocktail experience with knowledge of mixology techniques and spirits. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately. Strong beverage recipe development skills and wine knowledge to enhance guest experience. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and food industry calculations. Experience with beverage crafting including brewing or craft beer expertise is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures required for maintaining hygiene standards.
