Summary The Golf Coordinator is responsible for administrative duties that ensure the operation of the golf course's business functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Assists in the operation of golf course play and pro shop operation. - Responsible for golfer registration. - Assists in the keeping of records of rounds played. - Manages the play of patrons and starting times. - Works with various golf organizations using the golf course. - Assists in the enforcement of all rules and regulations at the golf course. - Assists in the collection of monies garnered through course transactions. Education, Training and Experience The Golf Coordinator should possess, at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one (1) year of experience in related work; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. Possession of a valid Georgia Motor Vehicle Operator's License. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The Golf Coordinator must be knowledgeable of the following principles, procedures, and concepts: - Knowledge of golf play and pro shop operations. - Knowledge of golf rules and their application to the game. - Knowledge of personal computers and relevant programs. - Ability to maintain accurate records and handle money. - Ability to work with various age groups and various sized groups of individuals. - Skills in effective written and oral communication.
