Middle School Golf Coach JobID: 2352 Position Type: Community Education/Community Education - General Date Posted: 3/2/2026 Location: Orono Community Education  Additional Information: Show/Hide Description: Middle School Golf Coach Job Summary * Provide coaching and instruction to middle school boys and girls in a competitive athletic program. * Season starts April 8 and ends May 21, practices are Mon./Wed. and Tues./Thurs. 3 - 5 pm. * Work collaboratively with youth and sports coordinator to implement a coaching philosophy that is supportive of student/athletes' development. * Communicate effectively with student/athletes, coaching staff, parents, and building administrators, regarding program needs and developments. Qualifications * Understanding of fundamental skills and strategies. * Effective practice management skills. * Effective oral and written communication skills. * Demonstrated experience in collaboration with others. * Understanding of the role of parent involvement and the ability to collaborate with parents. * Commitment to supporting the whole student/athlete in athletic competition, academics, and in character development.
