Job Purpose:
The Overnight Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the property during nighttime hours. This role ensures that key areas are clean, stocked, and ready for daily use, supporting smooth daytime operations. Responsibilities include performing deep-cleaning tasks, restocking supplies, cleaning carpets, maintaining clubhouse and locker room areas, and completing routine housekeeping duties.
Job Summary (Essential Functions)
Maintain a clean and organized locker room, including restrooms and showers
Monitor and replenish towels, toiletries, and other supplies to ensure all areas are fully stocked
Transports towels to and from laundry area
Empty, clean, and maintain garbage cans and waste baskets to ensure a clean environment
Cleans and maintains the steam room area and other special facilities and equipment in the Men’s Locker Room
Perform upholstery cleaning for couches and chairs in the Clubhouse and Tennis Clubhouse to maintain cleanliness and appearance
Responsible for cleaning the fitness center, including vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., as well as stand for extended periods of time. Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, squatting.
Qualifications:
Education:
While not required, a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Experience:
Prior housekeeping experience preferred
Ability to operate cleaning equipment and maintain high cleanliness standards
Skills:
Friendly, approachable, and able to communicate effectively with a variety of people.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols
Ability to keep the work area organized and be efficient
Ability to work independently
Work Schedule and Hours:
4:00PM-12:30AM
Morning availability preferred on Monday
Hours may vary depending on operational needs
