Assistant PGA Golf Professional

Job Title: Assistant Golf Professional Location: In-Person Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour Expected Hours: 30 – 50 per week

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Assistant Golf Professional to join our experienced golf operations team. This role supports the Director of Golf in delivering an exceptional golfing experience to members and guests through excellent service, event coordination, and daily golf operations management.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver outstanding customer service to all members and guests Assist with daily golf shop operations, including opening/closing procedures Support the Director of Golf in all aspects of golf operations Schedule and assign tee times for members and guests Organize and manage golf leagues, tournaments, and special events Promote and sell pro shop merchandise and services Ensure accurate cash handling and point-of-sale procedures Help oversee the outside golf operation team and ensure smooth day-to-day activity Establish and maintain strong member and guest relations Contribute to a positive and professional team environment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to teach or demonstrate golf techniques effectively Excellent organizational skills, especially for event coordination and lesson scheduling Friendly, patient, and adaptable, with a service-first attitude Knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and safety standards Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
