This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and a willingness to be hands-on in all areas of the golf operation.</p> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Providing excellent member and guest service at all times</p> </li> <li> <p>Assisting with daily golf operations, tee sheet management, and pace of play</p> </li> <li> <p>Supporting tournaments, leagues, member events, outings, and club programming</p> </li> <li> <p>Assisting with junior golf, clinics, lessons, and instructional programs</p> </li> <li> <p>Helping manage the pro shop, merchandise, inventory, and displays</p> </li> <li> <p>Supervising and training cart staff and outside services employees</p> </li> <li> <p>Enforcing club policies and maintaining a professional golf environment</p> </li> <li> <p>Supporting member communication and event promotion</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional golf operation</p> </li> <li> <p>Representing Smithfields Country Club with maturity, consistency, and pride</p> </li> </ul> <h2>Ideal Candidate</h2> <p>The ideal candidate will be:</p> <ul> <li> <p>A PGA Associate, PGA Member, or someone actively pursuing a career in the golf industry</p> </li> <li> <p>Professional in appearance, attitude, and communication</p> </li> <li> <p>Comfortable interacting with members, guests, staff, and ownership</p> </li> <li> <p>Reliable, coachable, and eager to learn</p> </li> <li> <p>Organized and able to manage multiple priorities</p> </li> <li> <p>Willing to work weekends, holidays, tournaments, and club events as needed</p> </li> <li> <p>Passionate about growing the game and improving the member experience</p> </li> </ul> <h2>Why Smithfields Country Club</h2> <p>Smithfields Country Club is not a stagnant club.
