Job Summary: Works in conjunction with the Golf Course Superintendent on all Golf Course projects and daily operations. Operates and takes care of all Golf Course Maintenance equipment Key Responsibilities: Safely operates equipment such as mowers and pluggers used for various course maintenance needs.Maintains maintenance and fluid-use logs (gas and oil) on equipment.Cleans machinery after each use.Inspects machinery after each use.Reports machinery and equipment problems to supervisor.Makes necessary minor adjustments to equipment.Loads and unloads materials.Trims trees and removes cuttings.Collects and empties litter cans.Rakes and blows leaves.Prepares and lays sod.Rakes bunkers.Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent.Experience Prior experience in landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be providedFamiliarity with irrigation systems, power tools, hand tools, and lawn care equipment is advantageousAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual tasks is essentialStrong attention to detail combined with a proactive attitudeJob Type: Full-time Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour Benefits: Health insuranceLife insurancePaid time offWork Location: In person
