Transit Valley is looking for energetic, hard working and hospitable professionals to join our service team. Country Club Server Job Responsibilites: Provide warm, attentive, and professional food and beverage service to members, guests, and their families. Create a welcoming experience by learning and recognizing members, anticipating their needs, and developing positive relationships. Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the Club’s point-of-sale system. Serve food and beverages efficiently while following established service standards and proper sequence of service. Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, daily specials, ingredients, preparation methods, beverages, and Club offerings. Communicate member requests, dietary restrictions, allergies, and special accommodations clearly with culinary and management teams. Properly set, maintain, clear, and reset tables and dining areas before, during, and after service. Monitor tables throughout the dining experience, including beverage refills, clearing, coursing, and anticipating additional needs. Ensure all member charges, guest charges, and transactions are accurately recorded and processed. Provide service throughout various Club areas, including dining rooms, patios, private events, banquets, golf events, pool areas, and other Club functions as assigned. Assist with banquet and special event setup, service, breakdown, and cleanup. Follow all Club policies regarding responsible alcohol service, identification requirements, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety. Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked server stations and dining areas throughout each shift. Complete assigned opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities thoroughly and on time. Communicate professionally with members, coworkers, supervisors, culinary staff, and other Club departments. Work collaboratively with fellow servers, bartenders, bussers, food runners, culinary staff, and management to ensure seamless service. Respond professionally to member questions, requests, or concerns and involve a manager when appropriate. Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards in accordance with Club expectations. Protect member privacy and demonstrate discretion when interacting with members and guests. Participate in required training, pre-shift meetings, menu education, and ongoing service development. Remain flexible and willing to assist in other areas of Club operations when needed. Perform additional duties as assigned by Food & Beverage Management.
