Pro Shop Assistant - Lake Arbor Golf Club - Variable

About the position Provides exceptional customer service in the Pro Shop, over the phone, and during golf-related activities in support of the Golf Pro and Course Manager. Ensures guest requests and feedback are communicated professionally and addressed in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and may exceed 40 hours per week during peak seasons. Responsibilities Operates cash register and processes sales transactions accurately.Assists customers with retail purchases, providing product information and recommendations.Maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming Pro Shop environment.Answers incoming calls and directs inquiries to the appropriate staff member.Communicates with customers in a friendly, professional, and responsive manner.Oversees and supports cart, range, starter, and marshal staff; assists in various areas as directed by the supervisor.Frequently operates a personal or City-owned motor vehicle to drive to and from work locations throughout the City.Requirements Ability to use good judgment.Ability to work independently.Ability to maintain clean and neat appearance.Ability to maintain adequate attendance.Ability to follow instructions.Ability to perform basic computer skills.Ability to perform basic math, operate and balance register.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public.Ability to effectively communicate information, both verbally and in writing, to support organizational objectives and interact with all levels of personnel within the city in a positive and cooperative manner.Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.Must be 18 years or older.A valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.High School/GEDNice-to-haves Knowledge of golf merchandise.Related Retail and customer service experience a plus.Benefits Temporary, Variable Hour and Health Plan Eligible employees will earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum cap of 48 hours.
