Position Overview

Hermitage Country Club is seeking a friendly, dependable Fitness Attendant to help create a welcoming experience for our Sports Center members during weekday evenings and weekends. This part-time position is ideal for students looking for flexible work around their academic schedules or retirees seeking a relaxed, social work environment.

The primary focus is member interaction, friendly communication, and maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting fitness facility.

Responsibilities

Greet members warmly, build relationships, and provide friendly, attentive service. Answer questions and assist members as needed. Keep the fitness center clean, organized, and presentable. Properly organize weights and equipment to maintain member safety. Report equipment issues and safety concerns promptly. Assist with routine facility tasks and communicate with the Sports Center team.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with people of all ages. Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail. Previous customer service or fitness experience is helpful but not required. Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds or more to safely reposition weights and equipment and help maintain a safe environment for members. Pre-employment drug test required.
