Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Mechanic and be the driving force behind maintaining and repairing our fleet of turf equipment, vehicles, and machinery essential for delivering a top-tier golf experience. Duties
Diagnose and repair a wide range of golf course equipment including mowers, trimmers, utility vehicles, and specialty turf machinery using schematics and technical manuals
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and engine tune-ups to ensure optimal operation
Repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and mechanical parts on various equipment types
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely
Conduct preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment lifespan and reduce unexpected breakdowns
Troubleshoot electrical systems and interpret schematics to identify issues accurately
Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inventory logs for all repairs performed
Skills
Proven dealership or service technician experience with heavy machinery or automotive repair preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and schematics interpretation
Hands-on experience with equipment repair including generators, heavy-duty vehicles, and turf machinery
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, soldering skills, and electrical diagnostics
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in outdoor environments
Excellent customer service skills when interacting with course staff or vendors regarding repairs or maintenance needs
Knowledge of Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery brands is a plus but not required
