Position Summary The Restaurant and Bar Manager will oversee the daily operations, financial performance, and strategic direction of the Club's Thoroughbred Grill, 1854 Dining Room and Patio outlets. This is a member-facing, hands-on, high-energy leadership role responsible for ensuring exceptional member experiences, operational efficiency, brand consistency, and fiscal responsibility across the above Clubhouse Food & Beverage venues. The right candidate will work tirelessly to create first-class Dining and Bar experiences for all Club Members, their families and guests.
This position will report directly to the Club’s Executive Chef/Food & Beverage Director.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day restaurant and bar operations to ensure high service and quality standards
Refine and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for service, safety, and cleanliness
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations
Monitor Club Member satisfaction and resolve escalated concerns
Financial & Business Performance
Develop and manage staffing, establish strong scheduling to support business and budget model
Manage OpenTable reservations with call confirming all reservations
Drive revenue growth through holidays / special menu and drink promotions
Order and maintain all beverage inventories - including NA product
Leadership & Staffing
Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate supervisory and service staff
Foster a positive, accountable, and performance-driven culture with a competitive fire
Food & Beverage Strategy
Collaborate with culinary and leadership team on menu development
Ensure consistency in food presentation, quality, and beverage programs
Oversee wine, cocktail, and beverage program standards
Identify trends and innovate concepts to remain competitive
Members Experience
Ensure alignment with brand standards and service philosophy
Build strong relations with members and their families
Strong presence during peak time and personal interaction with each member
Implement guest experience initiatives and service training programs
Monitor Member feedback
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or related field (preferred)
3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in restaurant and bar operations
Strong attention to detail, presentation and cleanliness
Extensive knowledge of food, beverage, wine, spirits, and service standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
