About the Role
Role Description
The General Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Stockbridge, GA responsible for overseeing all aspects of club and golf operations. The General Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all aspects of the club’s operations: golf, membership, food & beverage, events, retail, course maintenance, facilities, and human resources. This is a leadership role that pairs hands-on hospitality with sharp business judgment. We are looking for an energetic, results-driven leader who will grow and retain a loyal membership, deliver memorable dining and event experiences, and own the financial performance of the club, all while building a culture of service excellence among the team.
The General Manager also partners with corporate leadership to implement operating standards, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, oversee capital improvements, and maintain strong relationships with members, guests, vendors, and the local community.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field5–10 years of progressive management experience in the private club industry, including time as a Club GM or senior hospitality leaderDemonstrated success in membership growth, sales management, and financial performance
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including team development, performance management, and the ability to foster a respectful, inclusive workplace.Strong operations management capabilities across golf operations, clubhouse services, food and beverage, agronomy coordination, and facilities maintenance.Proficiency in business and financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue optimization, cost control, and interpretation of financial reports.Experience with membership management and customer engagement, including member acquisition and retention, event programming, and delivering high-quality guest service.Skills in sales, marketing, and revenue generation, including private events, tournament sales, yield management, and creative programming to increase utilization.Comfort with technology systems used in club and golf management, such as POS platforms, tee sheet and reservation systems, CRM tools, and basic accounting software.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with members, guests, staff, vendors, and community stakeholders.Prior leadership experience in golf club, resort, hospitality, or related service industries; experience with private clubs is highly beneficial.

Compensation
$140,000 - $150,000 base, plus annual performance bonus. Base salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. The package also includes paid time off, a cell phone allowance, medical and dental coverage, professional association dues, continued education, and a 401(k) plan.
