Park Ridge Country Club is seeking an energetic, service driven Assistant Food & Beverage
Manager to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a key role in managing and
overseeing the day-to-day food and beverage operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for
our members and guests.
The Assistant Manager will lead a dedicated team, ensuring seamless operations across the
restaurant, bar, and banquet functions, while balancing multiple tasks and working closely with
the F&B management team. This is a fast-paced role ideal for a proactive and adaptable
professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily food and beverage operations in the dining room, bar, and banquet areas.
• Lead and train staff, ensuring consistent high-quality service and member satisfaction.
• Assist in scheduling team members and managing labor costs according to business demands.
• Maintain inventory and ordering of supplies to ensure seamless operation.
• Monitor food and beverage service, ensuring all service standards are met.
• Collaborate with the executive chef and other team members to plan and execute special events, banquets, and club functions.
• Manage member concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase food and beverage sales and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the F&B leadership team.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in hospitality, with at least 2-3 years of management experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide the team.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and functions in a busy, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on personal service.
• Ability to adapt to varying shifts (mornings, afternoons, evenings) based on club needs.
• Knowledge of food and beverage inventory management and financial controls.
• Passion for creating memorable experiences for members and guests.
• Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems; experience with club management software a plus.
