Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintenance on all ornamental plantings, ex: fertilizing, watering and pruningInstallation of plant materialSpray/record all chemicalsMaintain mulch/pine straw areasOperates small equipmentOperates construction equipment (ex: loader/backhoe)Supervise crew as requiredWorks some weekends
Safety Requirements
Performs job responsibilities and operates equipment according to the company safety and training programs.Uses personal protective equipment as trained and required.Maintains a safe and clean work environment.Reports safety or hazard concerns to management.Reports any on the job injury to management.Takes personal responsibility for safety every day.
Qualifications
Previous experience in landscape maintenance or landscape installation requiredKnowledge of plant materialPhysically able to bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to stand on feet for extended periodsMust be able to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions.
