# **Director of Equipment – Golf Club** Location:Houton, TX Job Type: Full-Time ## **Position Overview** We are seeking an experienced **Director of Equipment** to oversee the maintenance, repair, and performance of all golf course equipment and fleet operations. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal functionality of small and large engine equipment while supporting daily golf course operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical expertise, golf course maintenance experience, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance and equipment management. ## **Key Responsibilities** • Oversee maintenance and repair of all golf course equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, and small engine equipment • Diagnose and repair small and large gasoline and diesel engines • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to maximize equipment life and minimize downtime • Order parts, manage inventory, and maintain vendor relationships • Maintain accurate service logs and maintenance records • Ensure compliance with safety standards and equipment protocols • Collaborate with the Golf Course Superintendent to support daily course operations ## **Qualifications** • 3+ years of golf course equipment maintenance experience • Strong mechanical skills with small and large engine repair expertise • Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs • Experience ordering parts and managing equipment inventory • Ability to troubleshoot and work independently • Valid driver’s license
