Golf Course Maintenance

Job Summary The Golf Club at Little Turtle is seeking dependable, full-time grounds crew team members to help prepare and maintain the golf course for daily play. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, takes pride in attention to detail, and enjoys working outdoors in a team-oriented environment. Duties • Set up the golf course for daily play (cup cutting, tee markers, raking bunkers..etc) • Mowing (greens, tees, fairways, rough) • Operating equipment • Back pack blowing and string trimming • Sod and seed • Hand watering • Spraying • Other duties as assigned Requirements • Ability to show up on time • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately • Ability to walk at a moderate pace and operate a mower • May be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat. • Ability to lift 50lbs • Ability to work weekends and holidays Schedule • Start time: 6/6:30/7 (depending on the time of the year) • End time: 2:30/3 on weekdays, 10/10:30 on weekends • Will be assigned to a shift of either Sunday-Thursday, or Tuesday-Saturday Golfing Privileges • Golf on Monday's when the course is closed or after outings end • Make tee times at the clubhouse after 3pm Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
