Overview Job Title: Golf Course Grounds Crew Department: Golf Course Maintenance Reports to: Golf Course Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent Location: Union League Liberty Hill (800 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444) The Union League Liberty Hill Golf Course Maintenance Department is seeking individuals who enjoy working outdoors in a landscape maintenance atmosphere. The Golf Course Maintenance Department is responsible for the maintenance of an 18-hole golf course, and adjoining Lodge landscaping. No experience in golf course maintenance is required. All job duties can be taught. Responsibilities • Properly and safely operate lawn mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, shovels, rakes and other types of lawn care equipment. • Maintain and use equipment as if you own it personally. • Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area. • Communicate well and work together with other team members. • Complete job tasks in a timely manner with detail and quality. Qualifications • Physically fit and able to move quickly from place to place. • Capable of walking 5-7 miles per day at a brisk walking pace. • Self-motivated and able to demonstrate a sense of urgency. • Capable of following detailed instructions. • Willing to work in varying climatic conditions including rainy, cold and hot weather. • Punctual and have reliable transportation. • Able to present a valid driver’s license, state issued ID, and/or state issued working papers if applicable. • Able to complete a criminal background check.
