About the Role
• *Job Summary**
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Guest Services Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable experiences for our guests. You will provide support in all guest service-related fuctions. Your proactive approach to guest relations, combined with your hospitality expertise, will help foster a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the club and its facilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in customer service and guest engagement while contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
• *Duties
• Assist the Membership Director and Director of Golf with the smooth operation of the accommodations and golf functions
• Ensure that all guest enquiries and complaints, whether in person, on the telephone or via email, are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• Where appropriate ensure that comments and complaints are reported to management
• Answer phone calls and direct to the appropriate person
• Assist with guest check-ins and help guests with their luggage
• Assist with set up of guest rooms with appropriate signage and requests
• Must be knowledgeable about The Olde Farm and its facilities
• Ensure guest areas are maintained at all times
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for the guests and up to standards
• Provide valet services when needed
• Assist the golf operation with airport shuttles
• Assist the food and beverage team during special events
• During the off season you may assist with maintenance and groundskeeping
• Uphold hospitality standards by delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive guest relations at all times
• *Requirements
• Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management roles preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Demonstrated ability to handle guest concerns professionally while maintaining a positive attitude
• *General Job Responsibilities:**
The employee must be able to follow specific instructions while maintaining acceptable established standards of work performance and conduct, show the necessary and consistent energy, as well as acceptable mental and physical dexterity, for the satisfactory completion of the essential duties as summarized and defined. The employee must exhibit acceptable interpersonal skills and the continuous ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere. The job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
