GENERAL MANAGER/CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER POSITION PROFILE: LOCHENHEATH GOLF CLUBWILLIAMSBURG, MIGENERAL MANAGER/CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OPPORTUNITY AT LOCHENHEATH GOLF CLUB LochenHeath Golf Club is looking for a General Manager/COO (GM/COO) to succeed its long-tenured General Manager following more than 13 years of dedicated leadership. Nestled near Traverse City, Michigan, amidst the breathtaking backdrop of sweeping Lake Michigan views and the serene expanse of Grand Traverse Bay, LochenHeath has been recognized many times as an excellent golf course and experience. The Club now operates as an exclusive, members-only private club centered on providing an exceptional member experience.

This leader should be a strong team builder, motivator and hospitality leader. This individual will report directly to the Executive Committee made up of the majority ownership group of this for-profit golf club. Solid financial acumen and a strong golf background will serve the new GM/COO for success. GENERAL MANAGER/CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER - POSITION OVERVIEW The General Manager/Chief Operating Officer (GM/COO) serves as LochenHeath Golf Club's chief operating executive, providing strategic leadership and oversight of all Club operations while preserving and enhancing the exceptional member experience that defines the Club. Reporting to the Executive Committee representing the ownership group, this individual will lead golf operations, golf course maintenance, clubhouse operations, food and beverage, finance, facilities, and member services, ensuring every aspect of the operation reflects the Club's high standards of excellence.

A visible, approachable, and relationship-driven leader, the GM/COO will foster meaningful engagement with members, inspire a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement, and serve as an ambassador for the Club's distinguished reputation. The successful candidate will provide sound financial stewardship through effective budgeting, strategic planning, and operational oversight while partnering with Club leadership on long-term initiatives and capital improvements.
