Salisbury Country Club is seeking a motivated and passionate Golf Course Superintendent to join our team and help elevate the golf experience for our members. About the Role Reporting directly to the Director of Golf Courses and Grounds, the Golf Course Superintendent will be responsible for leading the day-to-day maintenance and management of our 27-hole golf facility. The Superintendent will work collaboratively with a team of Assistant Superintendents, the Grounds Superintendent, and Equipment Technicians to ensure exceptional course conditions and member satisfaction. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong agronomic knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent team management skills. Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily golf course maintenance and operations across 27 holes and practice facilities

Plan and execute cultural practices, moisture management, pest control, and course conditioning

Manage and develop staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation

Assisting with irrigation operation, troubleshooting, and repair

Assisting in annual budgeting and capital project planning

Coordinate with other departments and serve as a professional representative of the grounds team

Communicate effectively with members and attend club and departmental meetings

Degree in Turf Management, Agronomy, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent

Proven success in managing cool- and warm-season turf in the transition zone

Current Pesticide Applicant's License (or ability to obtain within 90 days)

Valid driver's license

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year
