About the Role
Golf Course Cashier
• Days/Time and Hours/Time duration: Every day of the week/a.m. or p.m. shift (5-8 hours/day) hours will vary according to time of year
• Job Description: The Golf Course Cashier's position is located in the clubhouse of the golf course. The Cashier is generally the first point of contact for the customer.
• Duties and Responsibilities: His/her primary responsibility is ring up customers using our Point of Sale software, sell merchandise, make tee times for customers, restock merchandise and supplies, and deliver excellent customer service.
Preferred candidates will have experience in working with the public. Experience in working with computers and handling money. Knowledge of golf preferred, but not required. Must be able to lead others and deal with the public in a courteous manner. Must be on time and able to work a designated schedule.
Golf Course Cart Person
• Days/Time and Hours/Time duration: Every day of the week/a.m. or p.m. shift (5-8 hours/day) hours will vary according to time of year
• Job Description: The Golf Course Cart Persons' position location is the cart barn and holding station areas. His/her primary responsibility is to ensure that the golf carts are clean and ready for operation.
• Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure that the golf carts are clean and ready for rental. Police the areas outside of the clubhouse and cart barn for trash. Assist the starter and ranger with breaks, and general assistance.
Preferred candidates will have some experience in working with the public. Knowledge of golf preferred, but not required. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to deal with the public in a courteous manner. Must be on time and able to work a designated schedule.
Golf Course Snack Bar Attendant
• Days/Time and Hours/Time duration: Every day of the week/a.m. or p.m. shift (5-8 hours/day) hours will vary according to time of year
• Job Description: The Golf Course Snack Bar Attendant's position location is snack bar inside of the clubhouse. His/her primary responsibility is to serve and sell snack bar items to the public.
• Duties and Responsibilities: Serve snack bar items. Some food items will need to be cooked. Restock snack bar items when necessary. Ensure that the snack bar area is clean according to health department standards.
Preferred candidates will have some experience in working with the public. Knowledge of food service is preferred, but not required. Must be able to deal with the public in a courteous manner. Must be on time and able to work a designated schedule. Must be at least 18 years old.
Golf Course Starter
• Days/Time and Hours/Time duration: Every day of the week/a.m. or p.m. shift (5-8 hours/day) hours will vary according to time of year
• Job Description: The Golf Course Starter's position is located at the first tee area of the golf course. His/her primary responsibility is to ensure proper order of the golfers and to get the golfers onto the course without undue delay and hardship.
• Duties and Responsibilities: Register all golfers into the Starting Times List after a green fee ticket has been presented. Enforce posted Starting Procedures and Course Rules and Regulations. Police the first tee area around the gazebo and first tee for trash and dirt.
Preferred candidates will have some experience in working with the public. Knowledge of golf preferred, but not required.
Golf Course Maintenance Worker
• Days/Time and Hours/Time duration: Every day of the week hours will vary according to time of year. 8 hours/4 hours 5:45 to 2:30 /5:30 to 9:30 weekends.
• Job Description: The Golf Course Maintenance position will change cups, rake sand traps' mow tees, and rough. Weed eat, trash removal help out as needed.
• Duties and Responsibilities: Perform each individual function according to our standard and course conditions.
Preferred candidates will have some experience in working with the public. Knowledge of golf maintenance preferred, but not required. Must be able to deal with the public in a courteous manner. Must be on time and able to work a designated schedule.
All positions start at a salary of $15.00/hr.
Specialized training and experience is necessary for those jobs requiring specialized equipment operation in grounds and facility maintenance, specialized program leadership and supervision, technical clerical activities, etc.
NOTE: College degree is desirable for those positions involved in program leadership, coordination, and supervision in a program activity situation.
A complete background investigation will be completed prior to hiring.
