Player Assistant/Ranger

Position Summary: Spring Valley Golf Club is seeking friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Player Assistants (Rangers). This role plays a key part in maintaining pace of play, assisting guests, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all golfers. Evening availability is strongly encouraged. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain pace of play across the golf courseInteract with golfers in a professional and courteous mannerProvide assistance, directions, and general course information to guestsEnforce course policies respectfully and consistentlyReport any course, safety, or maintenance issues to managementAssist with starter or outside service duties as neededQualifications: Strong communication and customer service skillsBasic knowledge of golf and course etiquette preferredAbility to stay calm and professional in a variety of situationsDependable, punctual, and team-orientedComfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditionsSchedule: Evening shifts strongly preferred (typically late afternoon to close)Flexible scheduling availableWeekend and holiday availability preferredApproximately 15–25 hours per week depending on business levelsCompensation & Benefits: Hourly payGolf privileges (based on availability)Employee discounts on merchandise and food & beveragePay: From $15.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discountFlexible scheduleWork Location: In person
