About the Role
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Catalog & Site Success
• This individual will partner closely with merchandising, engineering, operations, and customer service teams to ensure that product launches, updates, and promotions are executed flawlessly across all North American websites and online marketplaces (Ex, callawaygolf.com, callawaygolfpreowned.com, ogio.com)
• Automate and own system integrations across order management systems and establish alert notifications to track and identify errors and configuration issues before they impact customers.
• Streamline and optimize product configuration, site availability, and component offerings on site, ensuring order success and a pleasant customer experience.
• Partner with Master Data on the creation and maintenance of all product information in the inventory database. This includes SKUs for Callaway and competitor clubs, product descriptions, materials numbers, UPCs, and other related data.Â
• Advanced product configuration and customization setup to allow for an accurate and seamless order creation.
• Own and improve the trade-in-trade-up (TITU) program within Callaway’s B2C and B2B sites.Â
• Use SQL queries to audit product data, identify inconsistencies, and validate system outputs.
Inventory Acquisition Management
• Oversee the inventory acquisition of the trade-in-trade-up and Demo, Rental, Staff, Overstock, and Sales Rep programs.Â
• Analyze inventory levels and profit margins to recommend and establish appropriate trade values for Callaway and competitor clubs.Â
• Create regular reports and other communications for leadership, sales reps, and retailers regarding trade information and program details.Â
• Maintain consistent expansion of the TITU program to allow acceptance of all major OEM clubs through research of competitor products and regular review of trade rates.Â
• Coordinate sales promotions and contests with cross-department teams to ensure smooth execution and evaluate any impact on inventory or pricing needs.Â
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
• Strong knowledge of Excel and Word.Â
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating data.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management.
• Strong knowledge of golf equipment across the market.Â
• Experience managing complex product catalogs or configurable products.
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience preferred with SAP.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree required.Â
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related area, preferably in the e-commerce or master data-related fieldsÂ
• Experience in the golf industry is a plus.Â
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT (if applicable)
• Work is performed in a designated professional office workstation and environment.
• Extensive use of office equipment, including computers, calculators, copiers, fax machines, and other business-related machines and software.
