Job Title: Line Cook Location: Talbot Country Club – Easton, Maryland About Talbot Country Club Talbot Country Club is a private club located in the heart of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, offering exceptional golf, dining, and social experiences to our membership. Our culinary program focuses on quality ingredients, scratch cooking, and delivering a consistently outstanding dining experience in both casual and upscale settings. We are seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. Position Summary The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to club recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This position plays an important role in delivering an excellent dining experience to our members and guests. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies prior to service Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service Assist with food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and basic prep work Ensure all food is prepared safely and in accordance with health department standards Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations Assist with receiving and storing deliveries properly Maintain consistency and quality during high-volume service periods Qualifications Previous restaurant or culinary experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong attention to detail and food quality Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience A professional and supportive work environment Opportunities for growth within the culinary team Employee meals during shifts The opportunity to work at one of the Eastern Shore’s premier private clubs Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
