Position Summary:
The Golf Course Ranger plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable golfing experience for all members and guests. This position is responsible for monitoring pace of play, enforcing course rules in a courteous manner, assisting golfers with questions or needs on the course, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, approachable, and able to build positive relationships with players while maintaining professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet golfers with a warm, professional, and welcoming attitude.

Monitor pace of play throughout the course and encourage groups to maintain proper timing in a friendly and supportive manner.

Provide clear, courteous communication when addressing course policies, rules, and etiquette.

Offer assistance to players, including directions, course information, and answering questions.

Assist with locating lost clubs, balls, or personal belongings as needed.

Promote a positive atmosphere by engaging in polite and respectful conversation with members and guests.

Serve as an ambassador of the golf course, ensuring players feel valued and respected.

Report any maintenance, safety, or customer service concerns to management promptly.

Support other golf operations staff as needed.
Qualifications:
