Role Description The Outside Operations/Cart Attendant is a part-time, on-site position based at SIGNAL MOUNTAIN GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB in Signal Mountain, TN. This role is responsible for preparing golf carts for daily use, including cleaning, staging, and ensuring carts are fully charged or fueled. Daily tasks include assisting members and guests with loading and unloading golf bags, maintaining the driving range (such as collecting and replenishing range balls), and keeping outdoor areas neat and organized. The attendant helps manage the flow of carts, monitors equipment for basic maintenance needs, and reports any issues to the golf staff. The role also involves providing friendly, professional customer service, supporting tournament and event setups, and following all safety and club policies. Qualifications Ability to perform outdoor, physical tasks such as lifting golf bags, walking the course, and working in various weather conditions. Strong customer service and communication skills, with a courteous and professional approach to interactions with members and guests. Reliable time management skills and the ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently during busy periods. Basic mechanical awareness for routine cart checks and a focus on safety when operating vehicles and equipment. Availability to work part-time, including weekends, holidays, and peak golf hours as needed. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in golf operations, hospitality, or outdoor maintenance is a plus. Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with club policies.
